Deos Terrum Tenders Directly to the Crown
On the 20th day of April, in the year 2026, the Custos terra dei of Deos Terrum tendered a voluntary contribution to the Consolidated Account of Western Australia – the constitutionally established revenue account of the Crown – in fulfilment of the obligation that is purported to attach to the Land known as Deos Terrum under its original Crown Grant.
The tender is not a concession. It is a constitutional act.
The Crown Grant over the Land defines with precision what obligation attaches to it and to whom that obligation runs. It runs to the Crown and its heirs and successors – not to a body corporate registered with an Australian Business Number, not to a municipal fund held by a local governing body legally separate from the Crown, and not to an institution that has spent approximately four years declining to answer the straightforward question of by what Crown authority it asserts jurisdiction over Crown Grant land.
The Custodians of Deos Terrum have no quarrel with the genuine administration of public services. Roads are built. Infrastructure is maintained. Services are delivered. Those things cost money and that money has to come from somewhere. The question has never been whether to contribute. The question has always been to whom.
The answer is in the Crown Grant itself. The Crown said what it was owed and who it was owed to. The Custodians of Deos Terrum take the Crown at its word. The contribution has been tendered directly to the Treasurer of Western Australia for credit to the Consolidated Account – the account to which the Crown’s own revenues constitutionally flow under s 64 of the Constitution Acts Amendment Act 1899 (WA).
The tender is held in trust pending receipt of the Consolidated Account banking details. The obligation to receive it rests with the Crown. The Custodian of Deos Terrum stand ready to remit immediately.
